Those fall days where the trees are finishing their changes and the last of the summer warmth is in the air are some of my favorite times of the year. This photo reminds me of those days. I find the changing leaves give a warmth that is fitting for something called a fire tower.
 
This is the Ash Cave Fire Tower access road in the Hocking Hills of southern Ohio. The trail leads from the fire lookout tower to the top of Ash Cave.
